Research Methods & Characterization
From sample preparation to advanced characterization, each method is selected to support reliable and reproducible materials research.

Sample Preparation & Experimental Methods
Preparing powders, bulk ceramics, coatings, and deposited films for reliable materials characterization. Sample preparation protocols are tailored for SEM, XRD, XRF, nanoindentation, adhesion and dielectric measurements to ensure representative surfaces, controlled geometry, and reproducible test conditions.

Powder Characterization
Characterizing feedstock powders before deposition to understand their particle size, morphology, flowability, moisture, chemistry, phase composition, and environmental stability. These measurements help predict aerosolization behavior, feeding stability, and resulting coating quality.

Standards & Test Protocols
Applying standardized and controlled test procedures to improve measurement consistency, comparability, and reproducibility. Experimental protocols are adapted to the material system and research objective while maintaining clearly defined preparation and measurement conditions.

My Research
My research focuses on functional materials, electroceramics, sensors, and protective ceramic coatings, with an emphasis on how processing and microstructure control material performance.
I combine materials synthesis, film deposition, characterization, mechanical and electrical testing, and computational modeling to develop materials for sensing, electronics, and surface protection.
